Military correspondence and records from 1917 to 1919 in the papers of John A. Lanford.

During the war, Lanford was a captain in the U.S. Army Medical Corps, working as a laboratory officer in several base hospitals and the Central Medical Department Laboratory in France. Among the documents here are numerous monthly reports that he wrote to document military activities.
