Excerpts from the papers of Edward Harris II, a naturalist and ornithologist from Moorestown, New Jersey.
Much of the material is correspondence to or from other prominent naturalists. Other items include a journal and memorandum book Harris kept from 1838 to 1840; papers relating to the introduction of the Percheron draft horse to the United States; and documents dealing with the estate of his father.
