Steward's Mate, 1st Class, US Naval Reserves Richard Williams.
A Friday, July 6, 1945 Florence Herald report that Florence native, Slater graduate and International Minerals and Chemicals Corp. employee, Steward's Mate, 1st Class, USNR Richard Williams was in Service as part of the Hawaiian Sea Frontier command in the Central Pacific in July of 1945.
