Sparkman Hall was dedicated on June 20, 1971 in Leone Cole Auditorium at Jacksonville State University. Shown Senator John Sparkman, wife Ivo Sparkman, and President Ernest Stone admire the dedication plaque on the wall during a tour of the high-rise dormitory together.
