Summary: | Mary Alice Abernathy was a student at Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University). In 1966-1967 she was a member of the International House Program as well as a Second Alto in the A Cappella Choir. She married Clifford August Meyer, Instructor in Pre-Engineering, on August 3, 1969. Mary Alice Abernathy Meyer graduated from Jacksonville State University on January 23, 1970 with a B.S. degree in Medical Technology. She spent 12 months as a student medical technologist at Birmingham Baptist Hospitals her senior year. In 1976 she graduated from Texas A&M University with an M.Ed. in Allied Health Education. In 2002 she then graduated from Assemblies of God Theological Seminary with an M.A. in missiology. In 2017 she is a student in a doctoral studies program at Asia Pacific Theological Seminary at Baguio, living in China. |
