The house on the corner across Magnolia Avenue from the church was earlier the Wills home and then the Kappa Sigma fraternity house. From 3rd edition, 2013, page 81: It had been the antebellum site of the Auburn Masonic Female College, whose large chapel was moved to the Auburn campus in 1883 when the women's college closed.
