Summary:During the Civil War, Danielly was a member of the 14th Alabama Infantry, Company K. In this letter he writes that he has recently been appointed ward master of the military hospital in Huntsville, although he has been too sick with "bilious fever" to perform his duties. Danielly mentions that he is staying at the home of Mrs. Bradford who "is president of the hospittle society of ladies." He praises Bradford and the women of Huntsville, writing that "the ladies of this place are like mothers to sick soldiers & I do think that Bradford is one of the best women in the world."
