Major campaigns and battles include Seven Days', Second Manassas (wounded), the Wilderness, Petersburg (wounded), and Appomattox. After the war, Weisiger returned to Virginia, where he worked as bank cashier and businessman. He died in Richmond, Virginia, in February 1899 and is buried in Petersburg, Virginia.
