Scrapbook documenting the military career of John C. Persons during World War II, especially the activities of the 31st Infantry Division ("Dixie Division"), which he commanded.

Also included are photographs documenting Persons's post-war career, during which he served as president of the First National Bank of Birmingham and as a member of the board of directors at the Alabama Power Company.
