General Hisaichia Tanaka's sword, which he gave to General Harwood Bowman at the Japanese surrender in China at the end of World War II.

According to the notes that accompany the image, the samurai sword is over 600 years old. Also included is a certificate of authenticity signed by General Tanaka; it is written in Japanese.
