John E. Hunt, Donald Comer, and Dr. Rutledge on Christmas day in the Philippines.

Hunts was a lieutenant in the 25th Infantry regiment and Rutledge was a surgeon in the U.S. Army. Comer's family owned Avondale Mills, and his father, Braxton Bragg Comer, was the governor of Alabama from 1907 to 1911.
