Donald Comer with fellow soldiers in the Philippines during the Spanish-American War.

The men are identified, but the names (written in pencil on the mat) are illegible. Comer's family owned Avondale Mills, and his father, Braxton Bragg Comer, was the governor of Alabama from 1907 to 1911.
