42nd "Rainbow" Division surgeon sign
Hand-painted sign for the office of the Rainbow Division surgeon at Ahrweiler, Germany, used during postwar occupation in 1919. On the bottom edge, the artists signed their names, followed by "Quick Sign Co." They painted the sign over an older depiction of a castle.
