description Four children, Judith, Jena, Jimmy, and Donna Sue, are posing for a Christmas card. On front: Best Holiday Wishes from Our House to Yours, Judith, Jena, Jimmy and Donna Sue - Ralph and Eleanor Jernigan too! On back: Dear Miss Alma, It is time again for our annual message, I regret we are not in more frequent communication with each other, but I do treasure this 'Tie that binds.' As you may know Ralph and I mad a sad journey in August to attend the funeral of my youngest brother Bob, he was just 33 and drowned accidently. His passing was such a loss and shock, but I know you are familiar with the agony of losing a loved one. This was my first experience with the loss of someone so close, as time passes and the God's help- The realization and acceptance of his death becomes more real- we are all well here-.The digitization of this collection was funded by a gift from EBSCO Industries
