Caption on back: In Spring of 1921, the first banquet was held in the new Lambda Chi Alpha house which faced University Avenue and was located next to the Chi Phi house. This picture was taken at the time and I recall most of the participates. Beginning at the end of the table in front of the fireplace and standing left to right, are Tom Anderson, butler, Bill Sowell, Sidney Smyer, Brooks Forehand, Mrs. Dora Royall, Willis C. Royall, Ralls Coston, Dr. Coston, unidentified man, unidentified woman, Joe Dimmick Wilson, Carl Jamison, and Garrett Hagan. Sitting, right side, beginning at far end of table, are E. H. Britton, A. P. Phillips, Mrs. Phillips Sr., Mrs. Warren, Thurston Warren, Emmet McGauley, Grosvenor Dyar, Jack Wilson, A. B. Miles, Harold Witherspoon, Mrs. Witherspoon, and an unidentified woman. Standing at left, at far end of the table, is Mrs. Rose, who catered the banquet. Seated at the left of the table, proceeding from far end, are James Ward Stickney, Sterling Martin (?, white slash over face), two unidentified women, Preston Clayton, unidentified woman, unidentified man, John Martin, (arm over back of chair), Mrs. Joyce, and B.
