Craig Beard, Samford University Basketball Player, 1983
Craig Beard became the first Samford player taken in the NBA Draft when the Chicago Bulls selected him in the fourth round of the 1985 Draft. Beard is Samford's all-time leading scorer with 1,925 points from 1982 to 1985.
