She sold both companies ca. 1969, joined her husband as an agent and broker in Carlile Realty in 1972, and retired in the early 1980s. She married James Earl Carlile in 1947 and has three daughters. Carlile contributed this image to the Wiregrass Archives for its NEH-funded Wiregrass Common Heritage Project in 2016.
