Autogiro
Promoting Champion sparkplugs, this autogiro, a predecessor of the helicopter, made a visit to Mobile, Alabama. The aircraft landed at Bates Field and offered rides to several locals, including the owner of McGowin-Lyons Company, the largest local seller of Champion products.
