Divided back postcard.Printed on front: 'Maxwell Field, Montgomery, Ala. - 47' Printed on back: 'Maxwell Field, about 1½ miles from Montgomery, is located on the grounds used bu the Wright Brothers (Wilbur and Orville) as a Training Field in 1910, build in 1917, and was a part of the government activities during the World War, named in memory of William C. Maxwell, a native Alabamian, who met death in an airplane accident in the Philippine Islands. Made in U. S. A. By E. C. Kropp Co., Milwaukee, Wis. 4586N, U N Co Trade Mark Registered.'Written on back: 'Hello Rox; I am in Montgomery now. It is 3:00 a.m. we are leaving for Fla. In few minutes.
