Printed on front: 'M-4 The State Capitol, Showing Confederate Soldier's Monument, Montgomery, Ala. 7A-H357.' Printed on back: 'The State Capitol building at Montgomery, Ala. The central portion was built in 1850, the south wing in 1907 and north wing in 1911. In this building the Confederate government was organized in 1861, and Montgomery remained the capital of the Confederacy until 1862, when it was removed to Richmond.
