Written on back: 'Monday. Dear Mother, Jay & I are sitting on a davenport in front of this fire place. Traveled 575 miles today. The 2 dogs kept us awake so at 3 o'clock we gave up & arose. I'm glad we did for we had good driving clear to Nashville Tenn. Pretty slow after that. Will reach Fla. tomorrow night. Lovely weather - daffodils are out. Love, Alice & Jay', 'Mrs. L. W.
