Rufus A. Lewis Family
Rufus A. Lewis (1906-1999), the father of Montgomery and Central Alabama's Voting Rights Movement and a founder of the Alabama Democratic Conference, which later became the Black caucus of the Alabama Democratic Party, with daughter Eleanor (c) and relatives in New York City.
