| Summary: | "This is a picture taken by Krollengers Studio in 1935 of the Crossfield Ice Cream Co., located on the 1200 Block of Forrest Ave. where C&J Auto Service is now. They made ice by the 300 lb blocks, sold from the platform at 12 1/2 lbs for 5¢, delivered by truck to homes at the same price. Crossfield Ice Cream delivered to homes from Centre to Guntersville. All day singings were frequently held on the grounds.
