Summary:The Gunn-Bellenger House was built in 1886 for Edward Tracy Hollingsworth (a prominent merchant and banker in Gadsden). In 1901 Dr. and Mrs. Charles L. Gunn purchased the property and it remained in the Gunn family until the death of their daughter, Carolyn Gunn Bellenger (widow of William Clinton Bellenger, Jr.), in 1990 when it was bequeathed to the City of Gadsden. This photograph taken before the addition to the east porch was made. Also notice the separate kitchen behind the house.
