"Trustee's Sale of Seventy-Five Negroes, on a credit of one and two Years."

This is a newspaper article advertising a sale of 75 enslaved people that belonged to James Jackson of the Forks of Cypress. The enslaved had been entrusted to the daughters of James Jackson, Mrs. Martha Andrews, Mrs. Ellen Hunt, and Mrs. Sarah Polk.
