Moses, an enslaved blacksmith

This is a bill of sale between George W. Harris of Huntsville, Alabama, and John Coffee of Florence. In it, Harris sold Moses, a "black smith by trade" to Coffee for $950. Moses is described as being 26 years old, a "sound, healthy negro and a good mechanic."
