A February 28, 1992 Times Daily "A Chronicle of the Shoals" article written by Teresa Campbell Brewer and Mike Goens on Mrs. Janie Donald, a Tuscumbia, Alabama music teacher who was the first black teacher at West Highland Elementary School in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee in 1965.
