Negro Veteran Dies in Lima, Ohio; Buried Here
The Thursday, July 19, 1951 Florence Herald obituary of 29 year-old Florence native and World War II veteran Charlie Spencer Ragland, of Lima, Ohio. Spencer's funeral was conducted at the Zion Baptist Church and he was buried in the Peters Cemetery in west Lauderdale County.
