Summary:This is a newspaper article about the lynching of Fayette and Emmet Deloney and Ed Felton in Tuscumbia. The three were accused of burning several barns in the area. The three were taken from jail in Tuscumbia to a covered bridge on the outskirts of town by a mob of 50 to 75 men, where they were hanged and shot. Some accounts list the men as Thomas Black, John Williams, and Tony Johnson.
