Gamecocks Defeat Pitt State in 1992 Championship Football Game
The Jacksonville State University football team took on Pittsburg State December 12, 1992. The Gamecocks defeated Pitt State and won the Division II national championship trophy. Shown Gamecocks celebrate on the field by raising one finger to indicate number one.
