Jacksonville State College student Lila Akin attended the annual American Youth Foundation Camp held at Camp Miniwanca, Michigan, in 1957. The scholarship was given annually by Mr. and Mrs. Leon McCluer in memory of their daughter and son. (circa August 14, 1957)
