Sophomore Hop, 1953 Dance 2
The annual Sophomore Hop was held November 18, 1953 at Jacksonville State Teachers College in the gymnasium. Shown Tommy Phillips, president of the class, lead the dance with his wife, Joanne Porter Phillips. Dr. Emmett Fields, faculty sponsor, presented a bouquet of roses to Mrs. Phillips.
