| Summary: | Scholarships were presented to two International House Program students at Jacksonville State College on October 23, 1955 at a tea given inside the International House. The International Endowment Foundation trustees were hosts at the tea. The event was in celebration of the tenth year of the International House program as well as observance of United Nations Day. Shown from left are Col. Harry Ayers (chairman emeritus of the International House), Leon Archer (former district governor), Mohammed Boutaleb (Rotary scholarship recipient), Mrs. W.M. Beck (former president of the Alabama Federation of Women's Clubs), Nicole Noel (Alabama Federation of Women's Clubs scholarship recipient), and Mrs. Carl Strang (president of Alabama Federation of Women's Clubs).
