1953 Track and Field Team 4
Repeated interest by Jacksonville State College male students resulted in the formation of a track team that participated in intercollegiate competition, beginning in 1953. Faculty sponsor was C.C. Dillon and the Coach was senior Dana Herbst. Shown a track team member is pole vaulting. (circa 1953)
