Summary: | Men's dormitory Patterson Hall at Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University) was named for the late Albert Patterson, attorney-general nominee killed by an assassin's bullet in Phenix City, Alabama. A dedication was held on the front steps of Patterson Hall on October 8, 1961.
