Jane Rice Day, 1973 Events 19
Gov. George Wallace proclaimed August 27, 1973 as "Jane Rice Day" to honor the reigning Miss Alabama. Events held were a fashion show, a song medley, an autograph party, and a surprise birthday party. Shown Jane Rice is presented with a t-shirt by Alpha Tau Omega President Mike Whisonant.
