Summary:The Northeast Alabama Regional Science Fair was held March 24-25, 1972 at Jacksonville State University. Over 250 high school and junior high school students from 10 counties entered projects. Shown is Steven R. Jones with his project titled, "Electro-luminescent Tubes - Structure and Operation." Jones, from Cleburne County High School, was named a co-winner and went on to the International Science Fair. (circa March 24, 1972)
