A Jacksonville USO Dance during World War II
USO dances were sponsored events at Jacksonville State Teachers College. During World War II students were predominantly female. Ladies found escorts with service men on leave or from Fort McClellan. Many young soldiers returned on the G.I. Bill. (circa 1939-1945)
