Construction at Hammond Hall, Addition to Building 2
Hammond Hall at Jacksonville State Teachers College was constructed in 1947-1948. President Houston Cole requested the State Board of Education to name the new dining hall in memory of John D. Hammond, distinguished Calhoun County citizen. (circa 1948)
