Susan Puckett, Gem of the Hills 2
Susan Puckett was a student at Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University). She was named Gem of the Hills in 1962. A horsewoman with 10 horses of her own, she is shown wearing a cowboy hat and boots outside seated on a wooden fence. (circa May 10, 1962)
