Summary: | Interest in the study of ballet resulted in regularly scheduled classes at Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University) in 1964. The ballet class grew out of the requirement that the Marching Ballerinas take a semester's ballet training before they could join the group. Shown during a class are Brenda Faye Lyles, LaRue Sisk, Suzanne Russell, Kenneth Farr, Sandra Ivey, Norma Robison, Betty Roberts, Carol Tyson, and Sherry Brady. The class was under the instruction of Mrs. Zenobia King Hill.
