Kilby Hall Swimming Pool, More Popular than any Classroom 1
Kilby Hall, on the old campus of Jacksonville State Teacher's College, contained the auditorium and gymnasium inside the building. The swimming pool was located behind Kilby Hall. It was said that the first swimming pool was more popular than any classroom. (circa 1935)
