Summary:On January 24, 1966 twenty-five city and county school superintendents met at Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University) to form an informal organization which was set to meet twice a year on campus. Superintendents from the Jacksonville district of 17 counties were invited to join these meetings. Shown is from the superintendent meeting believed to have been held in the summer of 1966 possibly at the International House. Second from the left is W.H. Kimbrough and Charles Boozer on his right. The other men are unidentified.
