| Summary: | Brigadier General William Henry Forney attended the Jacksonville Male Academy before graduating from the University of Alabama in 1844 (with an A.B. degree) and again in 1853 (with an M.A. degree). He was a stockholder in the Calhoun College and served as their President. He also served in the Alabama Senate 1865 to 1867.
