| Summary: | Box 6 Folder 3: "Alright, now moving along to folder 3. Folder 3 are letters to the FCC. These are FCC related letters which also contain job descriptions of the personnel at WJLD and WJLN-FM. All the different job descriptions it seems like: news director, media director, chief engineer, general manager, and so forth. And the, let’s see… there are a couple copies of the job descriptions and also a cover letter to the FCC so that the FCC will have a total description of the job descriptions of the employees, and, apparently, that was an effort by George Johnston III, to come into compliance with an FCC requirement after an FCC investigator visited the station. There are a couple of references to Jimmy Lawson and Willie McKinstry as they were somewhat involved with the record industry. We've attached the letter to the FCC. Very stringent changes followed this letter in a memo to the staff. All included in this file and available upon request. From the WJLD files."
