Summary:Box 2 Folder 51: "We are now at folder 51. It is a picture donated by Zack Allan who had a brief history with WJLD back in the ‘50s, would have been around ‘53. He was at the station when Roy Wood Sr. was at the station for a brief period of time. From December of ‘53 to November of ‘54. He was there for a very short amount of time, and Roy recalled in my interviews with him that he took over from Bob Umbach when Bob left the Atomic Boogie Hour. Roy gave Zach Allan the nickname Rack ‘Em Back Zach because he always asked Zach to put back the records that he played. So Rack ‘Em Back Zach Allan. Cool name. Rack ‘Em Back Zach. When I interviewed at his home, him he lived in Bessemer. On Dartmouth Ave in Bessemer. "
