The painting is set within framing art which shows details of the columns,a side view of the temple, a floor plan, a statue and a vase. In the upper left corner are two labels which read: "School of Architecture, Architectural Renderings, RG 457, Original Number 82, 'A Circular Greek Temple'" and "82." In the lower right corner there is an artist's information block which reads: "James E. Wood, Ala. Poly. Inst. Class A&B Archaeology, 'A Circular Greek Temple.'" Above the block there is an Alabama Polytechnic Institute School of Architecture stamp, the handwritten inscription "2nd Medal" in red, and a red star. The painting is in fair condition with minor tears and edge wear and is encapsulated.
