Summary:This image is a watercolor conceptual painting of an iron gate set into a brick or stone wall done by H.B. Huff in 1940. The painting shows the gate placed within a framework of art showing details of its decorative ironwork, coats of arms, and a cross. There is a woman in front of the gate. In the lower right corner are two labels which read: "School of Architecture, Architectural Renderings, RG 457, Original Number 80, 'Kaja Espaonola', 1940, H.B. Huff" and "80." Next to the labels, there is an Alabama Polytechnic Institute School of Architecture stamp with the handwritten inscription "2nd Medal" in red and the artist's signature dated December 14, 1940. In the lower left corner is an inscription which reads: "Arch 375, Major II." The painting is in fair condition with minor defects in the lower border and is encapsulated.
