Summary:This image is a watercolor conceptual painting of a research center done by Brendon A. Bond in 1942. The painting shows an aerial view of the center giving the locations and floor plans of the various buildings with their rooms, walls, and doors surrounded by trees and landscaping. In the lower right corner the artist's information block reads: "B.A. Bond, Ala. Polytechnic Inst., Warren Prize 1942, Research Cent." There are two labels next to the artist's block which read: "School of Architecture Architectural Renderings, RG 457, Original number 51, 'Research center,' 1942, Warren Prize, B.A. Bond" and "52." The painting is in fair condition with two large blotches of discoloration near the artist's block and is encapsulated.
