The bottom half of the painting shows the floor plan of the hall with its rooms, walls, doors, windows, hallways, columns, decorative floor coverings, along with the steps, plaza, and tower in front of it. At the bottom of the floor plan is a close-up of the front entrance. In the lower right corner, the artist's information block reads: "Geo. H. Sewell, Ala. Poly. Inst. V Major. 'A Memorial and Exhibition Hall." Above the artist's block there is an Alabama Polytechnic Institute School of Architecture stamp with the handwritten words "2nd Medal ?." In the lower left corner, there is a label that reads "55." The painting is in fair condition with minor edge wear and is encapsulated.
